Student Appreciation

Student Appreciation Day
Posted on 05/01/2018

An annual tradition of the Poplar Bluff Technical Career Center, Student Appreciation Day was held on Thursday, April 26, featuring a recognition ceremony, cookout and fun activities for both the morning and afternoon sessions.

Honors students were recognized for being offered up to 36 free credit hours at Three Rivers College; students with perfect attendance were given monetary rewards; and Missouri SkillsUSA winners were acknowledged.

Each program had a chance to name their outstanding student of the year for going above and beyond to be leaders in the classroom. Some instructors chose multiple students, while others opted not to participate as to not exclude anyone.

HVAC instructor Ron Hedrick grilled hotdogs and students played various activities with their teachers including sports, video games and cards.
