The Poplar Bluff Technical Career Center will provide career and technical education for professional success within a curriculum framework that reflects the relevancy of our times, industry and needs of our community.
The four year graduation rate of students taking career technical education classes was 97.94 percent –according to Director Charles Kinsey.
“These people are skilled to find employment if they choose,” Kinsey noted. “A student may go on to become a doctor or a brain surgeon. That doesn’t mean he or she is not going to need to wire up a switch in his or her house or put up sheet rock. Come and learn to be a carpenter. That’s an excellent skill that can put you through medical school.” Career education is more than learning a trade, its developing skills that can and will be used to either make or save one a ton of money over their lifetime.
TCC will be celebrating its 55th anniversary this academic year, according to historical records and will also boost a record enrollment for the August 2021 classes. Click on the programs link to find out about each of our amazing programs.
