Building Trades

The Building Trades program is designed to prepare students for entry-level jobs in the building trades. The program concentrates on residential construction; designing and building of a family dwelling is the primary method of instruction. Home maintenance, repair, and alteration also are stressed. The class includes training in the fundamentals of hand tools and power equipment; and instruction in and familiarization of concrete, electrical wiring, construction costs and estimating, site work, building permits, and landscaping.

Program Specific Fees

In addition to tuition, Program Specific fees associated with this course will be for required assessments, tools, uniforms and professional development/membership fees. The amount due for any additional fees will be made available upon notification of acceptance to the program.
